Dr. Kojian is a board-certified physician and surgeon who offers superb results through safe, effective FDA-approved treatments. A recognized aesthetic professional, he performs and trains other professionals in the use of Botox, Restylane, and Juvederm treatments. He is also recognized for his extensive experience in the use of lasers and skin resurfacing modalities to create beautiful smooth skin.

Dr. H. James Kojian, M.D., is not only a physician and surgeon but also an expert in the field of anti-aging and longevity who offers amazing results using FDA-approved treatments.

Dr. James Kojian, M.D., graduated from the University of Illinois Medical School and trained at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Kojian has also had training in aesthetics through the Occuloplastics Department at UCLA, and has many years of experience in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Kojian has received additional training in anti-aging and longevity medicine from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the Age Management Medical Group as well, and has held memberships in these organizations. Dr. Kojian has been a past member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Physician Specialists. Dr. Kojian also trains doctors and nurses and certify them in the art of Botox, Juvederm & other dermal fillers.

ILUMA means light and in many languages, it’s the root of illuminate. For me, it’s about more than what we see in the mirror; it’s about restoring the confidence and energy that life’s demands can dim.

I’m Wendy Paulson, a proud Latina, mom of three, and Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience. I’ve spent my career helping people heal, but my journey took a new direction during COVID, when I was working in the ICU and everything changed. In those moments, life becomes painfully real. You see how quickly everything can shift, and you’re forced to face what truly matters most. I witnessed the worst of humanity and the best of it, sometimes in the same day. I felt the weight of loss, exhaustion, and fear, but I also saw incredible resilience, love, and sacrifice. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I realized that time is the one thing we can never get back.

I made a promise to myself: to spend my days doing what truly makes me happy, to fill my life with purpose, and to be present with the people who matter most to me.

That promise became the foundation for ILUMA, a sanctuary where clients are treated with the same level of care, compassion, and attention to detail I once gave my patients in the ICU. ILUMA is a place where you can slow down, breathe, and invest in yourself without guilt. Every treatment is designed to be natural, intentional, and grounded in wellness, so you leave not just looking refreshed, but feeling restored, confident, and completely at ease in your own skin.

And while ILUMA serves clients in this way, it’s also a platform for something even deeper. My true purpose runs beyond aesthetics, I want to create opportunities for my fellow nurses to dream bigger, step outside the walls of the hospital, and reclaim the time they’ve lost. I want them to live in the moment, to spend more time with the people they love, and to build a boss mentality that gives them freedom, confidence, and control over their future.
